Elements in HandsMudras, also known as hand yoga, typically involves placing the hands and fingers in certain positions as described in the Vedas.

In Mudra Philosophy, It is believed that the five fingers correspond to the five basic elements (Fire, air, ether, earth, and water).  By the touching together of the tips of the fingers, free energy is redirected back into the body along specified channels and back up to the brain. This results in the body being brought into an energy balance that fosters healing and sustained Health.  Disharmony and imbalance of these 5 elements lead us to disease.
