Dandelion Greens are one of my favorite go to’s for my smoothies. Although just inherently drawn to  Dandelion, I was surprised to learn that it not only contains Protein, but it contains even more than Spinach!  Dandelion has been eaten for thousands of years as a food and as a medicine to treat anemia, scurvy, skin problems, blood disorders, and depression. See some additional benefits listed below:

  • Rich source of beta-carotene which we convert into vitamin A.
  • Rich in:vitamin C, fiber, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and phosphorus.

  1. My grandma cooked them when I was ​a child but I can’t remember how but I remembe ​she got them out of the yard. Never knew they were so nutritional. Interesting
